Monitors-How to reset pixels and where to donate an OLD one

I need to set this new one t0 1040X900 but don't know how to do that (Microsoft XP I think)

Where can I take the old one? and I mean OLD one. Big 25 pound mother that one.

1. I had to download a new driver to set mine to that.

2. Go to the

control panel from the start menu. Click on "Display" and then "Settings." Resets your resolution. That's what you're wanting to do, isn't it?
