I'm quite lonely here

my son spends every other weekend and once a week with me in the evening.

I moved into a hermetically sealed apartment that doesn't allow pets (hope to get out of here soon)

Someone in a thread I have here about "branching out" trying to get out and into life so to speak after losing some friends that were friends from marriage, someone mentioned "meetup.com" I found Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul groups mostly :P

Actually the lounge might just be the dating section.

Of my group, which has about 15 core members, there have been 2.5 couples formed. :P

The beauty of it is that since it's not really a dating group you get to KNOW people pretty well before you decide to date them. :)

it is hard to connect with anyone no matter where you are. I live in CA, and everything goes god until I get to the politics. Then it is like "You go to protests?" "You vote", shit like that. So it is not just a red state thing, it is everywhere...

Over popcorn and why I did not want to eat some. Told him I don't eat microwaved popcorn with butter flavor due to the shit that put in it. He actually wanted to fight me. So I keep it on the way down low now.
