2. She was fantastic.
The performances have been worlds more interesting than the actual awards. Kind of been that way for a few years now.

22. Who is Bai Ling and why does she come to all these events
I mean, ok, I could point out Bai Ling in a line-up but I don't even think I could name one movie she was in.

I thought the Grammys was about music

6. Here's what he said:
I deserve this award. I basically broke into this place five years ago, and now I own it.

When the music started playing, to get him off the stage, he threw a minor tantrum. Then he said that the only people who deserve album or artist of the year (or whatever) are Amy Winhouse, some other artist, and him.

He said that he told someone (maybe Fiddy) not to release his album the same year.

Just a bunch of gloating and assholery.

8. Didn't he rush the stage at some show when he didn't win?
and grab the mike and complain.

Yeah, rhetorical question, I know he did.

9. I'll take your word for it.
After what he did tonight, I would find that very believable. SNL made fun of him about it.

I'm sure there'll be a youtube of it soon.

11. Vince Gill (of all people) just took him down a peg, though
Ringo gave him the award for best country something or other, and VG said: "I just got given an award by a Beatle--have you had that happen yet, Kanye?"

We got a laugh out of that :)

23. That was great
hip hop and rap will never be music. These people just make a mockery of the Grammy's. They call it Music for a reason!

i watched her performance though and have to admit now that shes actually pretty good
quite interesting and provocative
in a weird sort of way
she seemed sober too

i thought i saw her naked woman arm tattoo wearing a swimsuit

too bad though i wanted feist to win best new artist or anything for that matter
she attended the same high school my daughter goes to now
