my sister's cat went missing for 10 days, showed up after a snow storm. She's guessing he hid out in someone's shed/garage and was locked in there, and only came out when whoever went to get their snowblower/shovels

he was extremely thin, dehydrated and had frostbite on his ears and end of tail. he lost about 1/2 the ears and the end of tail

We had one go missing for a few days, combed the neighborhood, that sort of thing.

It had found a comfortable cubbyhole in the house and just wandered out one day, demanding water, food, attention. I hope yours is just being temporarily antisocial.

Put out some tuna and his favorite food. Some toys out there to. Maybe his bed with a heating pad under it with some type of shelter over it. I have about 14 ferals in my yard with a heated shelter for them. Other neighborhood cats seem to find the shelter all the time.:hug: :hug:
