I volunteered to participate in some PARS research (My brother has Parkinson's disease). They sent me many, many forms to fill out and about 100 scratch n' sniff thingies. I thought they were all really easy to identify. Wrong! I got a call from them yesterday asking me to participate in further studies because I'm "smell affected". They asked if I'd go to Boston for a neurological exam, then to Hartford for some imaging tests.
Has anyone else ever been part of research like this before?
