not going to class, because a) it's pouring rain outside and I'm already soaked and b) I got an e-mail that mentioned something about class being cancelled because of the strike (I'm at William & Mary and there are a lot of people protesting President Nichol's resignation)...it was just vague enough to convince me to skip. ;) Besides, if I decided to go to class (that started about five minutes ago, anyway) that would mean that I would have to put on some pants, and I don't really want to do that right now. :silly: Stupid rain...

Funny, my daughter is a hypochondriac. She'll bring me coffee but has instructed me not to give her a handmade Valentine, because it may have germs on it. I should feel insulted but I'm rather more concerned about her sanity. :)

With the occasional glance at my girlfriend sleeping on the bed because the covers have slipped off and I can catch a peek at her bare neck and back.

23. What programs do you guys use in that class?

Last class I took like that used Sibelius.

I (*&%ing hate Sibelius.

It has every single feature known to man. And not a single good way to use any one of those features.

Oh, and I'm sitting at home in front of my computer right now. :) I get out of class at noon on Mondays and Wednesdays, but I have to pick my grandpa up from dialysis at 2ish, so I've made a habit of going to the ice rink after class and skating until I have to leave to pick him up. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have another class at 2, so I'll still go to the ice rink then, but then head back in time to grab a late lunch and get to class. :)

It's actually good software, but most of the computers are absolute pieces of shit that don't work. Or, for some reason, don't have Finale installed.

Has most of the functionality of Sibelius, and doesn't have most of the interface and usage problems. :P
