37. let's see your picture at age 40 then
there is no way that she looks 40 and it's an insult to my intelligence and to the intelligence of any woman who is actually over 40 to say that she does

what kind of life will you have if you're a woman and you have such unrealistic standards, or if you're a man, i guess you're the kind who does a trade in for two twenties LONG before your partner actually reaches 40, and please don't ever ever ever raise a daughter

your expectations are so cruel and so negative that it's just mind croggling

39. I'm a woman in my midthirties.
And she looks horrible. She looks like someone nearly twice her age with way too much sun exposure.

A woman who ages gracefully is a beautiful site. I prefer to see a woman who does not visit tanning beds nonstop, who does not botox the crap out of herself, etc.

This is worse than twice her age. There is something wrong with the way she looks.

And yes, I am raising a daughter. She is being raised with realistic standards. This picture is the perfect example of premature aging that could have been prevented. I'm not talking about the kind of prevention via cosmetic procedures. I'm talking about taking care of yourself instead of what she has done.

And no, my expectations are not in the least bit cruel. I don't expect everyone to look good all the time but here-she looks like she is aging rapidly. Pull up pictures of yourself at age 21-did your cheeks look like that? And did your mouth look like it was beginning to form lines?

Someone said too much of a chemical peel. If that's the case you should feel indignant that a 21 year old with good skin feels the need to get chemical peels.

40. As to my picture at age 40-
it's not that far down the line for me. Right now I'm aging like my mother so I will still have skin that looks better than hers does at age 40.

My friends in their 40's thought she looked like she had aged overnight. Long bouts of hard partying can do that to a person. They were much more upset about the fact that someone who was naturally pretty before had done so much to herself to appear to have aged overnight.

This is the woman responsible for taking healthy girls like Lindsey and Nicole Richie and starving them down to anorexic levels. And this is not a bust on naturally thin women. We've all seen healthy pictures of Lohan and Richie to know that their current look is not just a 'speedy metabolism'

43. I have to wonder.
I had friends who became addicted to meth. This is what they began looking like after intense use-sunken cheeks and the appearance of lines. Yes, both are natural signs of aging but not in a woman in her early 20's.

why don't you post a photo of yourself in your early 20s?

i'm going to suggest that she has earned more money with her looks, even if they aren't to my taste, than you and i ever will

i'd like to see equal time for posters ragging on men's looks, most of the male celebs don't even try but nobody craps on them all day long

if you think the woman in that photo looks old and ugly, then you are never going to be happy with any woman except maybe a pre-teen, she looks fine

41. I'll rag on men all day long.
I don't post pics here and neither do you. But in my early 20's I didn't look as old as she does here. When I was 22 I barely passed for 15. (Sad but true.)

Is it unrealistic? I don't think so. I think what these women put themselves through now is unrealistic and that there needs to be a return to a more natural look, natural body type, etc. I think the standard put on these women is disgusting and that sometimes someone needs to point out how unattractive it really is. Even a year ago she still looked her age. Now she doesn't.

Look, I don't want to fight with you on this but I will say this-pictures like this are the kind that mothers will pull out and say things like "This is what happens when you party too hard and don't take care of yourself." This is not a picture of someone who has aged well. Heck, at her age there shouldn't really be any signs of aging yet.

I have 10+ years on her and I have eczema so my skin can have a peely burned look at times. (Especially in this weather.) Even with the skin problems I do have I still look nowhere near as old as she does in that one picture.

I really think it's premature aging. Once again I'd like to point out the hard living that she does. It's not good for the body or the soul.

And this is what I think is pathetic about the whole picture-we are expected to bow down and think it's beautiful. The caption actually called her "freshfaced". WTF! That's not what I call fresh-faced.

Fresh-faced is natural-not tanorexic and overall overdone. And women can have a "freshfaced" look at any age. It's all about how you live and the aura you project.

I've met women in their 90's who are incredibly beautiful to the point that you tear up and hope to be like them someday. This young woman reminds me of the website called Faces of Meth.

59. i feel bad for the daughters, wives, and friends of most posters in this thread
no one with eyes in their head who doesn't have some kind of mental disturbance can stand there straight faced and honestly say that is a picture of the "faces of meth" or that this young woman is ugly, old, and unattractive

there really is something wrong with people who are so filled with hate that no matter how young and beautiful a woman is, enough is never enough, there is simply no woman on this earth that can meet their cruel standards

i feel sorry for you folks but more...i feel sorry for your daughters and any other female intimates, assuming you have any when you're not too busy self-hating

it's especially sad that other women can be this ugly

beauty may be skin deep, as they say, but ugly goes all the way to the bone, and the mean-spiritedness revealed on this thread is truly mind boggling and has caused me to lose respect for several posters here

shit on people for what they have done, don't sit there and pick at people's looks in this petty fashion, it isn't lohan you're making look like crap, it's yourself

seriously think about the message you're sending here -- which is that no girl, no woman, is ever young enough or pretty enough, once she's over age 15 apparently she's no good any more, she's got too much age on her! how is that not the logic of the pedophile?

a few days ago i read a post from a woman boasting that her mother was beautiful at 60 because she had never been in the sun and i could only shake my head and think, what a sick idea of beauty, to admire a woman for missing her entire life and living indoors like some hothouse flower, sorry, but i'll go outside and climb mountains and be a part of life and if you think me ugly because of it well you know what? it's your loss, because the person so self-involved that they give up their whole life to avoid the sun, hell, they've given up their whole life to center everything on having perfect skin...well, you only get one life and one day it's going to be over and nobody's going to care about your perfect skin in your coffin -- i'm proud of my mom for going out and being outdoors and living life, nobody's going to write on her grave, "90 years old and never stepped into the sunlight!"

61. Have you seen what meth can do to a person?
I have firsthand. My cousin once went from a pleasant-looking woman to gaunt and scraggly-like the picture above.

Oh, and don't feel sorry for myself or my DAUGHTER. Yes, I said it-I'm a woman and I'm raising a daughter. Alone.

And you're the person I feel quite sorry for. You'd rather push what is obviously an unhealthy stereotype upon us all, stating that we should feel like crap for thinking that she looks awful. Sorry but she does look awful and if she's smart she'll fire her stylist. On top of that she'll get the help that she desperately needs (just got out of rehab before Christmas and was caught drinking a few short nights later).

She looks awful. Admit it. A woman who has taken care of herself (and that doesn't mean locked herself away somewhere) looks 1000% better. Most women I know who are more than twice her age (which would be most of my friends IRL) look 1000% better. Maybe they have wrinkles, grey hair and stretch marks (but don't we all after a certain age). At least they have taken care of themselves, compared to Lohan. She's taken her golden ticket, if you will, and is currently in the process of flushing it down the toilet.

Her partying is notorious. She's been known to hold up production on movie sets because she can't stop partying. And now her looks are going so it'll be harder for her to get a job. Soon she'll be a punchline and no 21 year old should ever be a punchline.

62. BTW-
I don't need your respect. I have respect from those IRL who do care what I think. All you think about is how high and mighty you can act towards others-I've read your posts before. I've defended so many other women before but this one starlet I will not. She's had her chance (and second and third) and she's wasted it. She looks awful and most here know it.

And don't ever feel sorry for my daughter. My daughter is not being raised by a stage mother who wants nothing more than to push her daughter into the spotlight so she can get into the best parties. I am raising my daughter to actually think for herself. And as to the meth comment-my cousin will make sure she knows what drugs can do to someone. And my cousin said that picture reminds her of some of the people she met in rehab, just so you know.
