Will DU Ever Have Another "Change Your Screen Name" Period Again?

I'm back at DU after a lengthy absence (although in the past few months I have been sort of following the discussions). But I want to change my screen name (because I hate it now and it's stupid) without losing my (admittedly meager) post count.

Will DU ever have another of those "change your screen name without losing your post count" periods again?

I came up with it back in '03 when the song "She Hates Me" by Puddle of Mudd came out. I loved that song at the time.

Now, it's not as amusing. I need a screen name that is more timeless, transcendent.

When Kentucky finally has Democratic representatives in the House and Senate, as well as a Democratic governor, I plan on changing mine to BlueGrassPride. OK, maybe I'll just wait for Moneybags McConnell to be ridden out of DC on a rail.

Welcome back muddle from someone who visits DU a lot lately, and still I have a mediocre post count (I like to read more than I like to type).

I would be in favor of a "Change Your Screen Name" time, just because it would be fun, and also maybe to salve some wounds from this primary-time.

I also have a question: did the last "Change Your Screen Name" time reset our 'member since' status? I know it kept our post count, but I could swear that I was a DU member in 2003, and my profile says '04. Maybe I was just lurking back then though...
