2. Well, my home connection will only be about half that...
so, 10 minutes per movie, I'm afraid.

I'm still in AWE. I've never seen a download so fast in my LIFE. :)

In between you know, WORK. ;) BUSY day today - we had some routing issues that we had to track down and alleviate. I'm working til 7 btw, and Bodhi is laying here beside me looking like a BDSM submissive in his new brace. :D

Hell yeah, til 7! I didn't have to - it was a choice I made, since Megan wasn't here today. :D :D :D :D

Back to Bodhi - he has a black harness on his front torso part - and a brace that goes over his rear end - hooks to the harness on top to hold it in place, then goes down and is wrapped around each leg.

You should have seen him when he first walked in it - he was doing the "walking while crapping" shuffle ... He had us all cracking up.

14. The bag of crap.
If I find out it's a ginormous TV, I will NOT be happy. ;) Oh well. Not like I was doing anything tonight anyway.

Well he hasn't gnawed it off yet. That's a good sign. :)

6. Well, I'm at work, and on the work PC, using their connection so....
Zeitgeist - which I know is free to download and distribute - thereby doing away with the chance of risking my job. ;)

15. Working for an ISP DOES have it's perks.
That was from the office though. My home DSL line won't sync up at anything over 8 megs... but I'm not complaining!

19. LOL - kinda sorta, but not exactly!
I downloaded it via Usenet, but I specifically chose a movie I know for a FACT is freely downloadable & distributable. You can actually download it from the creator's website. Interesting viewing actually - a conspiracy theory flick called Zeitgeist. It's probably worth checking out if you're interested, but I can't say I've yet to watch the whole thing. Too busy.

Here's a link to the site: http://zeitgeistmovie.com/statement.htm

But yeah - as I said, working for the ISP (and a small local one instead of a ginormous corporation) DOES have it's privileges. Free internet and a fat pipe being only a couple of them.

I was testing a new router we installed the other night, as well as an additional upstream we just turned on. I was watching which routes the traffic decided to go through - and I needed a big file I knew could download relatively quickly in order to watch it. I never expected to find it would download in 5 minutes!! That was the last time though - after I found I could change the routes my news server would take to get to me. I found I could point it straight down our new upstream connection and through our new router - that's when my speeds increased to amazing proportions! :)

If any of that makes sense....

Anyway - I'm going HOME! :) Have a good night.
