I love this movie. I was a freshman in high school when it came out - it was the first movie date I had with my first real love, a senior who treated me rather shabbily and who called me last year apologizing and professing to have made the biggest mistake of his life more than 20 years ago with our break up.

I'd never seen it before, and I was 14 when it came out and I guess I should have seen it but somehow I missed it/ My husband watched part of it with me, he'd seen it so many times and knew everything before it happened, he said it was his favorite movie when it came out. :wow: that's amazing.
