Poll question: Should I watch The Breakfast Club? or The African Queen?
I really wanna watch Breakfast Club, it's been ages since I saw it, but it's coming on again next weekend on TVLand. So maybe that answers the question but I'm still up in the air about it, I mean I might forget it by next weekend and miss it altogether.
Breakfast Club starts at 3:00 and African Queen starts at 3:45.
It's an easy question I guess.. oh I don't know x(

1. Maybe you could
watch the first 45 minutes of Breakfast Club, and then switch over to African Queen? I don't know, I guess that doesn't make a whole lot of sense either. I'm sure you will enjoy whichever movie you decide to watch, though! :hi:

2. TY, I decided !
I'm gonna watch African Queen, because I've made a big enough deal over the HUGE decision that I'll remember next week to watch Breakfast Club. I mean I am very forgetful but I think I'll remember.. I have the dvd anyway but I want to watch it on the tv with no dvd player.. so many little complications this weekend x(
Anyway the cats will be glad I'm spending the afternoon on the couch so this is good news all around :headbang:

5. lol oh well I picked the A.Q.
I totally wanted to SMACK him when he was mocking the hippos and monkeys x( and then the drama with the leeches was kinda silly. But at least I've seen it now, if I haven't I would just wish I had.
And Breakfast Club is playing next weekend so it's all good :D

6. Let's see...John Huston or John Hughes?
The wonderful chemistry of Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn or a group of crappy, fourth rate "actors" (with the always laughable Judd Nelson pretending he graduated from the Lee Straberg school of acting) in some ridiculous movie about a group of teenagers and their so called "angst".

Yeah, that's a toughie all right. :-)

:puke: He's the part of that movie I like least, but I have to watch B.C. next weekend anyway, for deja-vu's sake.. it'll remind me of being 15.

I'm glad I saw African Queen, I didn't know anything about the movie before, and I think Katherine Hepburn's gorgeous!

9. I have to wait until next weekend :(
It comes on late tomorrow night but I can't stay up. Then it comes on Monday at 7:00 but I have to watch Newshour then. THEN it comes on at 10:00 Friday when I won't feel like staying up, I might have to get up early the next morning. THEN it comes on at 4:00 Saturday, so that's the time.. IF I don't just get bored with the whole idea before then lol, but I have to watch Molly Ringwald.. maybe I'll skip Jim Lehrer Monday night, just this once.

11. No question...The African queen...a classic...I can only assume
people who like The Breakfast Club "came of age" during the time it was out and brings back happy memories of younger days. I think it sucks.
