I like to go out and sing karaoke (I know... corny, but I like it.)

I don't necessarily want to meet a potential b/f when go out. It'd be nice to just make friends w/ other people who like to do what I do. But everyone is already there with someone, sometimes in quads (double-dating).

They have no need to start up conversations w/ strangers... they have plenty of company to talk to.

And approaching a whole table to make friends is... overwhelming.

It's no wonder I stay home so much.

I'm away from my house usually 12 hours at a time.

Swing by to compliment someone on their voice or choice of song to strike up conversation. Be interested in them. You already have the karaoke in common. I would have a hard time, too, but somethings just gotta be done, ya know?
