I am looking for a 4 star hotel in mid-town Manhattan. Free room service, maid service, gym, free valet parking, wireless internet.

I have not stayed in a hotel in 30 years, so would would guess that prices have risen tremendously.

I am willing to pay $40 per night for the room.

Any ideas on good hotels?

but you used to be able to get a decent hotel for $15 back in the 60's. Surely the prices must have more than doubled by now?

I tried to bid on a specific hotel, but it seems like they choose the hotel for you after you tell them what type and where? Is there a way that I am not seeing to bid on an individual hotel? Thank you!
