http://www.news10.net/display_story.aspx?storyid=38536

Longtime Sacramento television icon Harry Martin, who spent more than 30 years as a children's show host, news anchor and entertainment reporter at KCRA, passed away Sunday after a bout with cancer. He was 81 years old.

Born Harry Martin Uhlenberg, Martin graduated from Stockton's College of the Pacific in 1951, then worked at Sacramento's first television station KCCC Channel 40 as a director and announcer.

After KCCC closed its doors in 1957, Martin moved to KCRA and served six years as the dapper jet pilot host of the popular kids show "Captain Sacto."
