I'm pretty skeptical about Jungian approaches, blahblah, coincidences that aren't... so this is why I had a weird moment today. I finished reading a juv. fiction book I had to do for a sort of review and thought that the way the story ended wasn't one that I liked because the author made a big deal about all these numbers and days and people that were the same. the author did say.. are these things there, or are we looking for them? (In this book, it would seem they're there. (this isn't fantasy, etc.)
So, then I went to the library because I had to get some books and saw they were having a 3.00 a bag day end of a booksale, so I thought... I know I don't need anymore books, but maybe there's something... don't need a bag of books...
last night I looked all around my house for this classic kid book called The Moffats, and looked in the library catalog b/c I wanted to ck it out, and thought I'd also check out other books about the Moffats. One of my favorite books when I was a kid was Rufus M...and I didn't even remember it was a Moffat's book.
So, I go to the literature section and told myself I was only going to look there, and probably not buy, and the first book I see is Rufus M. It wasn't even in the right section. I thought this was so funny after I'd been thinking about the way I didn't like the synchronicity as a plot element, and then had just such a thing happen.
anyone else have one to share?
