There have been times when I said something on DU, that may have sounded slightly conservative. (But not often at all.)

And I seem to remember at least a couple times that some guy praised my post so much I was convinced he belonged to the Klan!

:)

3. Not so much that as encountering people who are like poorly-conceived caricatures of liberals,

7. That reminds me of the 2004 campaign...
The American Satanists (or somesuch group) endorsed Kerry on a rightwing rag because he was 'pro-abortion', and they wanted all babies to be aborted. Obvious Republican trolls.

9. There are some who are a little less obvious but are, nonetheless,
clearly ridin' the crazy train.

6. When it comes to the issues we are two peas in a pod, Syrinx
I couldn't agree with you more. There are some people on here who say that there is nothing good about any conservative issue. I actually think we could learn a thing or two from the conservatives sometimes. Do you live close to me? I'd like to buy you a drink sometime and talk about the Reagan presidency.

I know of one right now. Everyone loves them. They have been here so long and they know the "lingo". I call them my pet troll, although I rarely pet it.
