I had a blast and we're planning a similar trip when my youngest sister turns forty (she's the one with the long dark brown hair).

but it's not gonna happen. It's complicated. One sister is in the UK and the other is in Oklahoma. The one in the UK has an ex who's cost her $40,000 in legal bills because he decided he wanted the kids after he signed custody over 3 times. She was never served and didn't appear and the judge in the one-horse southern town (he's in the US) has issued a bench warrant for her. She can't come back into the country. All because he wanted to make her life hell. He didn't succeed. They're poor, but very, very happy there. And her second husband treats the children better then their own father ever could...

My youngest sister is eight years younger and the other two fall between two and six years younger. But we're best friends which is very fortunate.

We did very little beyond sleep, eat (well!), drink and see the Cirque Du Soleil show there at the time. Also we shopped and did I mention we ate?

No doubt there are other attractions but for a short visit, if you haven't been there before, I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't able to fill your days just walking around and absorbing the incredible, laughable ambience of the place.

Cirque shows. Have seen them all. Eating is tooooo easy there..I have driven the Lamborghini's through the desert. Something you might want to do next time. It's too exhilerating.

60. Where'd You Stay in Vegas?

68. We were supposed to stay at the Monte Carlo, but there was a fire.

So they shuffled us to Paris which was highly amusing, like Disneyland. Other members of our party ended up at The Venetian and Bellagio, much nicer places and we joked about how class gravitates toward class and we... well, we were at Paris. But hey, the Arc de Triomphe (sp?) was right outside the hotel and we had several swimming pools. A girlfriend called and when we asked her where she was, she said, "Just crossing the Seine." In all respects it was like the other older hotels, but a bit smokier despite a smoke-free environment. The same people, maybe fewer extremely wealthy. You should go!

73. I've Been There Twice Already

First time, I stayed at the Palms. Ugh! If MTV had a casino, it would be the Palms. It's great if you're 22 years old, which I aint.

Second time, I stayed at The Hotel which was awesome. It's a hotel without a casino in it, but it's connected to Mandalay Bay. I highly recommend it.

It's not very DU-like to say this, but I Love Las Vegas!!!
