9. Damn!
Well I've got the perfect view of this which few in the country have.

This moon is coming up over the ocean and it is clear and absolutely beautiful.

A little over 1/2 covered.

6. Totally clear sky here.
Was just outside in my bathrobe and jammies watching it, but now it's gone just a tad below zero so I came back in. I'll pop back out and look again when the eclipse is complete.

10. All native Minnesotans have antifreeze for blood.
We're hardy souls. Gonna run back out again, I think the eclipse is almost total now.

we're lucky it's all-of-a-sudden clear out. I have to watch through the window too, the low tonight's like 25 or something.

17. (at first when you look!!!)
it will just look like a half moon or something, but it looked almost full when I first looked a half hour ago and now it's a sliver.

I've been watching from my East facing office window. It's just a sliver now.

Tonights moonrise...

Edit to add...
The best pic I could take while shivering in the snow...

25. It was cloudy all day...and overcast a bit after moonrise here in NNJ...BUT
it cleared up in time for the near-totality, and it's beautifully crisp and clear now. Sighting a reddish Moon with Regulus and Saturn visible nearby...AWESOME!
