1. Good game by Shaq, even though the Suns lost

2. I love the Lakers
It was watching Kobe play several years ago got me interested in basketball.
I thought Shaq was looking a bit tired out there but he played a good game. It was funny when he dived for the ball and knocked the ref over. He seemed to be giving it all he had and that inspired Kobe.

3. Yup
Shaq was shaky at first and with the small margin that probably cost them the game but his performance bodes well for the rest of the season. He rebounded well all game, gave them 9. He wound up with 15 points despite doing nothing offensively early in the game. That suggests he has the potential to score about 20 with a full game. They don't need that from him, though. If he can consistently give them 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks and keep drawing attention from opposing teams he will be a great asset to the team. The biggest thing from tonight was that Shaq's presence really freed Stoudamire up.

The Lakers are probably the best team in the West now, although basically everyone from 1st to 9th is almost equal in that amazingly competitive and strong conference! Kobe is the best player in the league with James second. There is a lot of debate about the two but I think it is clear Kobe is better right now.

Yeah, that was funny, as was him sprinting down the court after the goal tending!

5. WOOHOO
I this game shows that the Lakers are the most dangerous team in the NBA at the moment. They do not even have Bynum or Ariza back yet.

:woohoo:

7. Basketball not baseball
I used to be confused as well. My husband is a bit of an idiot. He calls the Sonics the Seattle Seahawks. When the Sonics play I tell him I'm watching the Mariners and he doesn't know the difference. We live in Washington state by the way.
I just love basketball now. Obama used to play. My son said he saw a video of him playing in high school. I thought he did because he was throwing a water bottle to someone in the audience and he said "Who's got good hands"?
