I don't know their names. "Shadow of Your Smile" is one of my very favorite songs and whoever sang it ruined it. Talk about over-singing!

However, in the grand "same as it ever was" that is American Idol she'll probably get voted off instead of the girl (Amy Davis) who's only talent seems to be her gravity defying assetts.

On a related note, I thought her version of "Happy Together" was better than the one the night before that the judges saw as some great reinvention of the song when all guy did was turn the amps to 11.

It amazes me how musically ignorant three long-term industry people can be when it comes to basic musical knowledge.

11. I loved Alexandrea

I thought she had the best relatinship to pitch (holy crap some of those girls had some serious intonation problems!), had personality, a strong voice...and she won me with the shoulder thing she did. :)

25. She's been doing this for a very long time...

I remember seeing her perform on Showtime at the Apollo when she was a little girl, maybe 7 years old, and the reason I remember her is because she corrected Steve Harvey on his pronunciation of her name, just like she did Ryan last night. Apparently, she's quite adamant about it. LOL

Simon really liked her sass too, though he didn't have much good to say about her performance last night. I didn't agree with much of what he had to say about the performances last night, frankly. Oh well.
