Someone help me out musically here?

Heard a terrific song today on the radio, the lead singer sounded a little like Arlo Guthrie, and it sounded like bluegrass music.

But the DJ's announcement of the group's name got garbled by static.
"(Something) Medicine Show," I think.

Anyone know about this group?

I'm tempted to buy that album - looks great!

I don't know the band at all, but I love bluegrass, especially edgy bluegrass.

I'm not sure what they sound like, but if you like them, you might enjoy the Bad Livers, a kind of punk bluegrass band (but without the crappy musicianship of punk) with a connection to the Butthole Surfers.

Brilliant bluegrass. They no longer exist, but if you can find any of their albums, pick 'em up.
