My ongoing cat saga: here's a PICTURE!
Please, anyone who is annoyed that this is like the fourth post I've made about this, just be patient with me. I have wanted to love a cat for a long time, I've never had a cat or any other animal to love ever before, and I'm thirty and single. It's big for me. :)

Here's a pic of the little gal

I'll take better ones in the future.

9. It's really loose, it just looks weird in that picture cause of how she's sitting

5. Also - had to decide what to do about leaving her while I went to work.
I have to work tonight overnight, and I was trying to decide if she would feel like I just caged her if I left her inside, or if she would be comfortable and happy -- its going to be fricken freezing outside tonight. Last night I went out for about a 45 minute walk partly because I wanted to see if she would want to be outside if I wasn't there. When I came back she wasn't at the door meowing, she was in the bedroom hanging out. So it seems like its ok.

I decided to leave her inside just because its so cold out. There's food, water, litter, a couple cat toys, I left some lights on.... I couldn't think of anything else. Hope I did the right thing.

Incidentally - I did what some suggested before, and got a litter box just in case though she might rather go outside. But she took to it - she seems to wait until she's pretty sure I'm not close by. hee hee :) Apparently SHE must have privacy that she doesn't want me to have when I'm trying to go to the bathroom

10. Why would anyone be annoyed?
The best stuff I read on DU has to do with people rescuing animals. Some of the best cats I've had "picked" me instead of vice versa. This baby girl has picked you. I'm sure you'll have a long and happy life together.
She is a very pretty kitty, btw! :hi: What do you think you'll name her?

15. So are you still looking for names?
I saw her standing so regal and immediately thought, "Queen" or "Queenie" or maybe, "m'lady." Best of luck to you and your new friend.

How old is she? We just adopted two cats -- our very first -- so I know how excited you are. Cats are wonderful pets. Congratulations! I look forward to seeing more pics. :)
