Can you guys do me a favor? How long does this page here take you to load?

I've noticed a distinct drop-off of people using the links here and I was wondering if it meant that the pics are really dragging down the load time. (Or maybe the java script counter is gumming things up.) I checked it with various page load checkers and of course they don't like it, but I want to know what real live people think.

9. Yeah, that does actually.The page optimizer sites were saying that it

took 10 seconds for a cable hookup to load and half a minute or so for 56kbps. You don't even wanna know what 144kbps was! LOL (*snif* That was like my first modem evah!)

I wonder how many people have anything less than 56kbps these days?

I have DSL though -- it may be slow with dial-up.

6. I have DSl, but I think it's my cache loading it in now so I needed to be sure. I guess maybe that

means some of the lack of link clicking is due to the pics. You can see some of the stretches now whereas before you had to click on links only. Doesn't explain why so few of the other ones are getting clicked any more, though.
