I Just Hate to be told to Wake Up. What do you hate?

Does that bother anyone else. I see letters to the editor all the time where the writer tells everyone to "wake up." I just hate that.

I also hate the word "absolutely." Man, is that one overused.

And how about "jacked my jaw." I hate that one.
I would much rather hear "that really fucking pissed me off." Although neither one are probably very good choices.

Twice he's just given up and fallen asleep while I was talking, the poor guy. It's sweet that he doesn't tell me to shut up and let him sleep. :)

when someone tells me to do something I was just getting ready to do anyway.

I hate it when a cashier in a store hands me my money back with the cash on the bottom, then the receipt, and the change sliding around on top---and then they act all impatient because it takes me 15 seconds to put the money in my wallet and the change in the change compartment and the receipt in the bag. It would be easier and quicker if they put the change in my hand first with the cash on top, and put the receipt in the bag while I'm putting my money away.
