For the longest time I thought he was singing "Then I'm gonna give you up / Then I'm gonna let you down / Then I'm gonna run around and desert you." Which seemed like an odd thing to sing in a love song, but at least refreshingly honest.

I always dance to this song whenever I hear it in the grocery store. A black girl dancing to Rick Astley, a red haired British guy that sounds like a black man - how wonderful the universe of music ;)
