Excercise and the Immune System?
I've been attempting to do large amounts of yoga, weight lifting and cardio, but this past week I have been so exhausted.

Is it better to fight against being tired and do the regular exercise, or to do half, or just to give it a rest?

Because of my current situation, exercise means a lot to me mentally and just in terms of trying to be mentally tough, but lately I am so tire, that I am wondering if maybe it is time to lay off.

Any advice would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks.

1. I don't think it does much to your immune system directly
but it does give you more energy in the long run, so I'd say it's worth it.

2. You mean to keep on with my regimen despite the obstacles. I am going to try to do this. Thanks.

3. "...large amounts of yoga, weight lifting and cardio..."
Might you be overtraining? Hard to tell without specifics.

I don't see the tie-in between your exercise and your immune system, though. Are you sick/getting sick/worried about getting sick?

4. Exercise on a regular basis
can help boost your immune system, but from what I know of your situation, you are in a very stressed place emotionally and that WILL have an effect on your immune system.
I would do some light exercise, but don't push hard or your body WILL push back.
People can and do get hospitalized for physical and mental exhaustion.
