2. Here's my variation of that:
To the sausage and peppers and garlic after cooked add 1/3 cup white wine and cook down. I serve mine on polenta. As you know, the key ingredient is the sausage, ours is locally made and sold in an italian market.

3. Oh thanks a lot.....
Now I have to go out and get something to eat.

Geez.

Hold all the garlic and you've got two of my favorite meals. And here I was trying to stop myself from overeating this weekend.

I can smell it! My mouth is watering! Just burn the Italian sausage to a crisp and ooooo mama!

Vendors love me, I always ask for the most burnt sausage. Eh! What can I say!?

Zeph

I'm actually salivating! Damn!

4. I can make it better
Served from a disturbingly unsanitary pushcart outside of Fenway Park on a mild June night!

5. Sounds delish, but what's EVOO?
I'm hungry, dammit. We're waiting for our take-out sushi order to be ready, so we can watch the Oscars.

:hi:

7. You made me so hungry!
This could be any night meal in Pittsburgh where I grew up, ate this all the time. Now my kids can say a good meal from my youth in NC would be sausage, pirogies & sauerkraut fixed just the way you described, yummy! this wonderful ethnic food just moves where ever we do, Thank God!
