He wrote "Memoirs of an Amnesiac" and "The Unimportance of Being Oscar" (a play on words of the title of the Oscar Wilde play "The Importance of Being Earnest".

Oscar Levant was completely nuts and a brilliant piano player. Full of great quotes, just like Mr. Wilde.

I'll second the vote for Oscar Wilde, too!!!

Mr. Wilde has a grandson named Merlin who, amazingly enough, is 62 years old!! I find that amazing because Oscar Wilde died in 1900.
