My alma mater just called for a fundraiser.
Who on earth calls at 8:30 on a Sunday, during the Oscars?

(I'm running a 102-degree fever so I'm actually more annoyed about that, but still...)

2. We got Jehovah's Witnesses that early once--on Thanksgiving.
I answered the door in yoga pants, a tank top (no bra) and covered with flour (I was baking dessert).

They looked official--I thought they were the cops or something, or I wouldn't have answered.

3. One of my alma maters called
looking for a donation at *noon* on ***Mother's Day*** a few years back. I couldn't fucking believe it. How tacky and tastleless is that?
