New Age concepts

I'm not all that familiar with New Age stuff, but I have heard of one theory that I find interesting. It's the idea that our true selves are our souls and that we all have chosen this life in our pursuit of spiritual enlightenment. The idea is that we have picked this life, no matter how hard or challenging it might be, and all of the hardships that go along with it to grow.

I'll tell you what, next lifetime I'm going to pick being healthy and rich because after this being mentally ill and a member of the working class stuff I think I need a break. :)
