2. summer coming is a large part of my motivation.
I have let it grow for almost two years.

It's starting to feel like too much trouble.

What are you planing to have in your garden?

27. Did this for my ex sig other...he had hair very similar to yours!
Cut the front to a comfortable length, then sort of blended and feathered that down to the sides...then trimmed the back just a bit so it looked 'on purpose' and not straggly.

Ended up looking vaguely like something out of Prince Valiant...but on him, it worked. He had large, bold features and needed some hair around his face, otherwise he looked like a peeled onion. The 'clean-cut' look just didn't work for him.

5. I think I should cut my hair.
but I'm concerned I might be viewed as not holding solidarity with
my son.

But whatever your decision is, for whatever reason it's made, it'll be the right one.

10. Oh yeah? Well how about this?!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=7dyl0j3WU6Y

She asks me why
I'm just a hairy guy
I'm hairy noon and night
Hair that's a fright
I'm hairy high and low
Don't ask me why
Don't know
It's not for lack of break
Like the Grateful Dead
Darling

Gimme head with hair
Long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming,
Streaming, flaxen, waxen

Give me down to there hair
Shoulder length or longer
Here baby, there mama
Everywhere daddy daddy

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

Let it fly in the breeze
And get caught in the trees
Give a home to the fleas in my hair
A home for fleas
A hive for bees
A nest for birds
There ain't no words
For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder
Of my...

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

I want it long, straight, curly, fuzzy
Snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty
Oily, greasy, fleecy
Shining, gleaming, streaming
Flaxen, waxen
Knotted, polka-dotted
Twisted, beaded, braided
Powdered, flowered, and confettied
Bangled, tangled, spangled, and spaghettied!

Oh say can you see
My eyes if you can
Then my hair's too short

Down to here
Down to there
Down to where
It stops by itself

They'll be ga ga at the go go
When they see me in my toga
My toga made of blond
Brilliantined
Biblical hair

My hair like Jesus wore it
Hallelujah I adore it
Hallelujah Mary loved her son
Why don't my mother love me?

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair

they were saying concept-wise and to be honest I never realized how cool my parents were for letting me listen to it given the some of the content and all. :)

It is approaching the length it might wander into machinery.

23. Yeah when mine gets yanked by brush and trees I feel mild hatred.
Machinery can be dangerous. But when it gets to ponytail length you can start braiding or there is always the chonga (Navajo style bun)

22. It's kind of fun to have a whole new head
I usually grow out my hair for 4 months and then shave it all down. Obviously that's not 2 years, but it's fun to go into something totally different.

32. One word: pony tail.
I had really long hair in Tucson-- it was actually cooler; it kept the sun off of my neck. Kept the hair and the "look".

33. If you want to cut it, then cut it.
If you don't want to cut it, then leave it.

But don't do one or the other because someone else thinks you should.

Unless it's for a job. That's slightly different. :P

34. Oh no! Don't cut it!
That's my vote. BTW, I was a Supervisor in a high-speed machine shop years ago and had to constantly be careful with my hair - it was waist length and still is.

Wish my husband would grow what he has left long again. It was past his shoulders when we married in 1975 :-).

35. If you cut it, cut it short, man.
All or nothing. I cut off a couple feet of hair 3 years back, and I tried to have a "hairstyle" for a while. Didn't work. Now I keep it real tight. One and a half on the sides. Real short scissor cut on top to where it's kind of a rounded off flat top. Same as pulling it back into a ponytail, except without the hassle or the headaches.

(One of these days I'll figure out how to upload a picture of myself, but today ain't that day...heh.)

like, comb your hair straight back, not parted in the middle. say goodbye to the headband. put your hair back in a ponytail.

you have beautiful hair. you just need to let it join this century. ;)
