A FURNITURE maker could not believe his eyes when he discovered this strange find in the middle of a tree trunk.

Craig O'Connor thought it was a miracle when he saw a figure bearing an uncanny resemblance to Jesus Christ staring up at him from this pine trunk in Pennslyvania.

With its arms outstretched, churchgoer Mr O'Connor said believes it is a "sign from God."
