What's the strangest thing you ever lost down the toilet?

I smoke pipes. One time I bent over to work the handle and just as I flushed, a pipe I had in my mouth came apart and the briar part went down into the whirlpool and was lost. I thought about reaching in to grab it, but hesitated for a split second, wondering if it was something I really wanted to do. That split second cost me a pretty good pipe!
