1. I suggest a better slogan for him
"Manlove: not that there's anything wrong with that"

2. Sleazy.
Ex-mayor of Pasadena, TX.
Mayors of Pasadena (a burb of Houston on the stinkin' Ship Channel) is famous for corruption.

The first corrupt mayor they had was Sam Hoover back in the late forties. But he was brilliant and learned at the knee of Alfalfa Bill, Governor of Oklahoma. Quote from Sam Hoover "Every good lawyer should steal his ethics book!".

Later, in the 1960s and 70s they had a string of stupid, corrupt mayors. One mayor, Jim Brammer, in the early 1960s just took the money from a $75,000 bond issue from Merrill Lynch and gave it to his friends and cronies. This scandal was investigated by Gene Goltz, reporter for the Houston Post, and he got death threats and also won a Pulitzer Prize for it in 1965, the only Pulitzer Prize ever won by a Houston newspaper.

It goes on and on. Total sleazeballs.

5. Cardinal Sin
not a politician per se. Saw his name in the papers in the 1980s.

10. Well that's unfortunate.
I think I would vote for him just to watch TV news people say his name.
