2. If I were you,
I'd just close 'em. Of course, the person who opened 'em could have done that in the first place, I agree. :P

My dilemma is that my sister-in-law's cat wanders into my house every morning between 2 and 4 a.m. and proceeds to open the door to the cupboard in which the dry cat food is kept. Barley is extremely persistent, and successful. And yes, he leaves the cupboard door open, too.

The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger has access to the great outdoors. Unfortunately, Barley (who is Ginger's brother) considers this an invitation. It's okay, though. We're all kinda used to it. :)

4. ALL of them?
I'd be personally pissed about that, unless it was Yogi playing. I have one cabinet he plays in. It's tall, from the floor to the ceiling, with three doors. Sometimes, when he is playing, he opens them, (All three)

i have no idea why, but it makes me fucking crazy!

you opened the damn thing, close it!

i don't get why this is so hard for some people. you open the cupboard, you close it. you turn on the light, you turn it off. you lift the toilet lid, you close it. or, in other words, leave it as you found it.

ok...that was my nonsensical rant for the day :P

8. I do that.
:o

Though not as much. My cat likes to climb into open cupboard doors, so he's kind of breaking me of the habit.

11. I used to do that, but I'm properly trained now.
Persistent nagging is the only cure. Eventually that person will come to associate an open cupboard door with the pain of being nagged and feel compelled to close it. That's my experience, anyway :)
