12. Hang on zanne
They will come again, the leaf and the flower, to arise
From squalor of rottenness into the old splendor,
And magical scents to a wondering memory bring;
The same glory, to shine upon different eyes.
Earth cares for her own ruins, naught for ours.
Nothing is certain, only the certain spring.
Laurence Binyon

We'll have our full moon night again, a wisp of mist drifting across the meadow;
The air rich with the yeasty scent of damp spring earth.
And in the lilac bushes constellations of fireflies ....

Or house roof may collapse under the weight of the snow and ice and you'll have 15 minutes of fame in the Union Leader.

15. GAH!
The idea of the Union Leader is worse than the idea of a roof collapse!

And we still have March to endure and maybe survive ..... :woohoo::party:

11. Holy crap!
Driving from Contoocook to Hillsboro in 14" (this was back in '00). It was georgeous, I have to admit, but I was scared to death. Thank goodness for my '94 Saturn SL2: handled it like a pro.

I really can't take this much longer.

17. it's amazing the difference in weather just two hours away.
I was up in your area for a week a bit over a month ago and it seemed like it snowed every other day. I get back down here by the casinos in CT after that week to find out all it did was rain here. any snow we get doesn't stay long.

There's usually a temperature difference of ten degrees between here and there.
