Lights out means Start Your Engines! to my cats
It NEVER fails. The moment I turn off my lights and crawl into bed, my cats start going nuts!
Right now they are literally bouncing off the bed. I'm afraid if I lie down, I'm going to get run over! (its happened before).
Cats...sheesh...:eyes:

1. That's why we have a dog.
She is ready to go to bed three hours before we are....and she's harder to get out of bed in the morning than I am.

4. Your cats told me a different story.
Geez, the minute we decide to have some fun she turns the freakin lights off! She even has the nerve to lay down on our bed like she owns it. Damn, its hard to get good help these days.

You need to adjust YOUR sleep hours to accommodate them turtlensue.

5. yeah, ours are upstairs moving furniture every night
we have to wait until they settle down before we go to bed, otherwise we get the paws under the door. :eyes:

6. I still have to keep the kittens out of my bedroom at night
Otherwise little Tommy, the "good" one, burrows under the covers and attacks my feet.

When it's time for them to boogie, it's time for them to boogie.

9. Darn! I want a kitty!
I am not willing to risk one's life though to see if I could socialize the dogs. :P

One dog is snoring and the other is occasionally running is his sleep as I type this.

:hi:

12. It's Cat Night in the Lounge
*cue swanky music*
:P

My cats have been acting crazy tonight too.

I'm the one who is doped up on pain medicine for this flu. They act like they got all the pain relief from my medicine though.

Oh, shit, I'm typing like a FReeper tonight. I see the medicine made me more uncoordinated than normal but didn't kill the pain.

I'll be out in 10 minutes unless that last dose kicks in soon, then I will be  :silly:

13. they spend nights locked in the basement
i give them each a spoonful of tuna and say good night

they never complain
theyve done this since kittenhood
and the fish every night gives them beautiful shiny coats

the only possible down side is that what with sleeping all night they have lots of energy for ripping the place up during the day

they dont nap much

but its worth it for the night time peace and quiet
plus the rubs and purrs when the door is opened in the morning

17. two of my cats do that
the third one takes it as a sign to stop sleeping on the couch and crawl into bed and sleep. She does nothing BUT sleep.

It's also a sign for the dog to start barking at invisibile chupacabras in the yard.
