is "Leap Year Day" an actual holiday now?
i heard on the radio they were gonna do a fireworks show in celebration (?) of it.

i don't remember this day being "celebrated" before?

am i missing something?

1. I think it should be!
It's not like a REAL day, it's like a freebie. We should all get the day off because, think about it, for 4 years you've been giving up a tiny fraction of every actual day. Days that you ALREADY worked. So when you cash in all those little fractions to get your whole day it's not fair to make you work again, unless they're going to give you overtime. What would be really cool, since it always falls the same year as a presidential election we should make the leap day in November (it only has 30, there's room for one more, right?) and make it *also* election day and everyone gets the day off to vote, get drunk, shoot guns in the air and then riot in the streets if the republicans win. What could possibly go wrong?

p.s. and I'm not even stoned right now, can you imagine how I get when I am? :scared:
