We just got back from the ER

My daughter's condition took a bad turn at around 8PM. High fever, not breathing well.

She has pneumonia.

11. Is it just me, or does pneumonia seem more prevalent these days?

I personally know of at least two people that have had it in the last month. They're quite fine now, mind you.

What seems to be happening is that people are experiencing allergies that act like colds and they don’t go away. If all that mucus goes to the lungs or sinuses, one is prime for an infection. I blame global climate change and pesticides.
