Gentle suggestion to people who never clean their bathrooms.

Clean your bathroom!

Seriously does anybody know a totally brilliant and seemingly clean person who has a bathroom that nobody even wants to go in?? I know this woman who is the most together (and PRETTY!) person ever and I swear I would prefer to stop by a gas station on the way home than use her facilities.

The weirdest thing is she has all these cleaners in the bathroom that themselves have become grungy clutter!! Like the "Clorox Wipes" with a layer of greasy film on them. The rest of her place is kind of a mess too but I just have a thing about dirty bathrooms. It's a really cool apt too! I have fantasies of breaking into the place with a pair of rubber gloves and doing a number on it!!

2. I hate cleaning bathrooms.

So, it's likely to be the least clean thing in the house. Fortunately, we have three bathrooms, so, we simply close the door to the one we use the most.

I suppose if I had only one, I would keep it clean. I can't stand to have anyone over if the house isn't spotless. I really hate surprise visits.

3. Oh yeah another pet peeve...."calling" from the driveway to "ask" if you can come over!!

I have a friend who does that....it's not "calling first" if you're already here!

omg, I can't believe people live like this! I'm not a perfect house cleaner, but you would have no issues eating here or using my bathroom. Some of the people on this show literally haven't cleaned their houses in years.

I watched the short-lived US version a few seasons back on HGTV....LOVED IT.

I really does inspire me -- in fact I got their how-to book for my soon-to-be-college age daughter, she is a beautiful and gifted girl in many ways but cleaning/organizing? NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT! I totally fear she will be HCIYH fodder when not subjected to my nagging.

7. Cleaned mine this afternoon

Smells like Pine Sol. It's a Sunday afternoon kind of thing. I didn't do an extra special job on the tub. I'm getting new tub stuff - mat, liner, shower curtain - plus new rug thingys in the next week or so.
I wish Mr 'pede would stop talking about putting in a second bathroom...it's Not In the Budget...grr.

I, too, am brilliant and clean, personally. :rofl:

But my bathroom isn't exactly pristine. I have it all to myself, though, and nobody makes me clean it if I don't feel like it. Nobody is the boss of me. One of these days I'll get around to it -- but call before you drop by so I have time to tidy it up. Like about a week.
