Interviews Today!!!!!

Had 2 interviews today. First one went very well....spent an hour with the department director.

Second one, was probably the weirdest interview I have even been to...I was brought into the assistant director's office and told about the department: what they do, policies they have in place, positions available then I was given a tour of the unit. The only questions asked of me where: what shift are you interested in and do you have any questions for me......:wtf:

Has anyone else ever had a job interview go this way???? I would expect this if I was coming in as an orientee...but as a job applicant???????

I'm having a real Huh?? moment here. :shrug:

1. I work in the staffing/recruiting industry, and that's the

strangest thing I've heard in a long time. It's almost as if someone communicated something either incompletely or inaccurately to the person you spoke with. Either that, or they are the world's WORST interviewers and decided to try to "sell" the opportunity instead of evaluate you as a candidate. I'm making a leap, without checking your profile, that you are in a medical field - by your use of the word "unit". Many of the firms I work with barely evaluate med candidates beyond checking for a state credential. They are in such great need of the help, that if you've got the proper paperwork, they'll work itout on your terms.

I'm already sold on the opportunity, that's one of the reasons why I applied for the job. I just really hope that this turns into a positive....really hoping. :)
