A lot of heavy rain and thunder in Western NC.
Even a rare tornado warning in the mountains.

My power flickered. If it goes out before the results come in, I will be crazy.

1. Just about to get hit here in Durham
There's a big angry red squall line over Mebane.

:hi:

Hope your power doesn't go out.

Hmm. mebbe I'd better get the power outage reporting number on my cell phone just in case.

2. It's a huge slow moving storm.
It got here this morning and parked. Rain ALL DAY.

It's all good, though. I'm a gardener/landscaper so I gave myself the day off to get anxious about the results.:P

3. I'm in western NC (southwest of Asheville by a good bit)
and the weather had a big hissy fit about an hour or so ago, and now it's sunny and clear. But the storm had moved in last night, rained and was generally gray until about 3 p.m., then let loose with all kinds of thunder and lightning, and has since moved on.

I love big storms :D

5. I'm a WCU grad and former Asheville resident.
I miss living there terribly.

I hope you survive the storms OK and that they don't get in the way of your "fix" this evening! :hi:

6. Come back some time.
The clouds just broke, and the rain quit completely. It looks like it was the last punch of the day.

:toast:
