1. So, you want to recycle your recycle bin?
Or uncycle it?

Or bicycle it?

Or did you want to unicycle it?

2. Method #1:
http://www.5starsupport.com/xp-faq/1-24.htm

Right-click an empty area of your desktop
Select Properties
Click the Desktop tab
Click the Customize button
Click Restore Default
Exit all windows and restart your computer

Method #2:

Note: Be sure to make a backup copy of your registry prior to making any changes.

Go to Start>> Run. Type in: regedit

Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace

Hold the mouse on NameSpace and right-click once. From the resulting menu, select Edit>> New>> Key

Copy and Paste the following Key code (including the brackets):

{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

Press Enter on your keyboard, exit the registry editor and restart your system.

9. He said it's Vista. I don't think it lets you do that anymore.
At least not without confirming 37 times and a note from your mom anyway.

16. You know the stupidest thing about Vista?
As you allude, it asks you for confirmation of every single last damn thing...

except shutting down the computer, which it will do in a thrice without a second thought.

15. I figured out how I did it
(Having restored my recycle bin). When I right-click on it, the menu entry for "Empty Recycle Bin" is right next to the menu entry "Delete".

Good designing, Bill. :patriot:

10. 1. Open your recycle bin.
2. Find your "recycle bin" in the list of deleted files. Click once on it.

3. On the left side of your screen there should be an option to "restore this file". Click on it, and you'll be all set!

You can thank me later.
