An art director for the ad agency where I work approached me today.

One of the people in his department is someone I'm friendly with at work. She mentioned my wheelchair to him, and he absolutely wants a chance to turn it into a creativity excercize for his department.

A group of professional artists is going to "pimp my ride." :P

I don't have any details yet, and I don't even know when this is going to happen. But we'll be discussing it tomorrow. He's agreed to take lots of picturs, and I'll definitely get some to post here.

I told him about it, how all of you chipped in and bought it for me. And my one requirement for this project is that DU has to in there somewhere. :)

It will be very interesting to see what the artists at an ad agency come up with. They've been crammed into corporate boxes so long, either they're aching for a chance to do something really un-corporate or they've been assimilated into the borg collective. :P

to get a sense of what I like, what I'll tolerate, and how far the can go. But after that, it's all going to be a surprise. :)

I've asked that they take pictures throughout the process. And I'm sure that will turn into an presentation they'll post on the company e-newsletter or something. I'm sure part of the project isn't going to be just the work they do on my wheelchair, but also how they present the project and the work to other people. Whatever they do, I'll get a copy.
