I went to pick up Little MB at her dad's house about an hour ago.

As I was walking from the parking lot to the apartment, I failed to notice the sheet of ice covering the path. Well, I'm sure you all know what happened next - Down I went, on my hands and knees, face in the ice.

I had to knock on his door with wet jeans knees, bloodied palms, with my soaking glasses in hand.

To his credit, he immediately called the property management office to complain while handing me some bandaids and tissues to wipe my glasses down.

I felt like such a dork!

Funny, my fibromyalgia had not been acting up much this past month, surprisingly enough, so I end up wiping out on the ice - perhaps my subconscious could not deal without evil, nasty pain.

16. I'm usually graceful as hell on the ice.

Of course, I'm usually wearing SKATES then. :P

So yeah... I've fallen none to gently twice this winter already. First time I avoided any injury worse than a mild bruise, but the second one I twisted my ankle and it hurt for the next couple of days.
