1. Watching a soap opera and getting the guest room ready for my brother

Who is coming here tonight. My cable keeps freeze framing on certain channels but we don't have snow due until Saturday so I'm not completely sharing your situation.

3. Well, it is snowing pretty steadily, it stopped briefly

last weekend we were in the 70's and I got sunburned a little bit on Saturday.

Now it's cold, wet, and bleh

but by Sunday back in the upper 50's. :shrug:

such strange swings in the weather it seems.

4. Monday I was lounging by the pool in Miami in 80 degree weather

Tuesday I landed in Michigan in 20 degree temperatures in the middle of a driving snowstorm. It was like a slap in the face. Seven inches of snow that night and about six more due on Saturday. But everyone is excited because that will break the record for a season's snowfall -- over 80 inches.

Personally, I can live without the record.

2. i'm sitting on my bed watching "Notes on a scandal" which i've seen before but

Judi Dench is just so freaking good i always end up watching it again. I'm also trying to sort out what clothes i need to take with me on vaction.

17. How buhhhhzaaarrre!!

I just can't get my head wrapped around snow in Arkansas in March!

It was sunny for a period of time today here in SW Mich. I had to put down the visor when I was driving on the highway. I couldn't figure out why my eyes hurt so bad until I realized the sun was shining in them.

No, seriously!!! I mean it! SW Michigan has more cloudy days in the winter than Seattle, Washington. Buhhhhhzaaaarrre!!!

Now if you think snow is pretty and awesome, SPK, you come up here for a winter and you'll be cured of that notion for a very long time. This past February was the snowiest on record.

ugh!!!! The choruses of :wtf: have been resounding everywhere in Michigan. Didn't even have our usual spring thaw.

14. i saw her show last monday night when she said she was making "Choup"

"Oh no she didn't just say that" "Oh yeah Mom, she did" and then i promptly changed the channel, i just could not deal with "Choup"

but hell so am I usually, so she doesn't get on my nerves too often

but some of her recipes are just too bleech

but some of them are pretty darned good. I like the fast prep meals and she has a few really good ones
