My ex bought a used mini van, hates the bumper stickers, but doesn't want to ruin the paint.

1. Chainsaw.
Wait... WITHOUT ruining the paint. Hmm... I'll have to think about that one.

6. Yep. Goo-gone + hair dryer
Be careful with the hair dryer; Goo-Gone is flammable. Just soak it good, and apply heat.

5. How about this thing?

Apply liberally to the whole car and the paint will retain a uniform appearance. Make sure the windows are rolled up!

7. Hair dryer on an extension cord
Warm the sticker up, then the adhesive will release more readily and you should be able to peel it off. Use goo gone to clean up the adhesive that sticks to the car.

8. Mineral spirits bought at a home improvement store are your best bet.

But, if the stickers have been on a very long time it may not be possible to fully remove them. Once the adhesives have penetrated the surface removal may be impossible. Good luck.

Regards, Mugu

9. depending on the size and content of the sticker
either a 12 gauge or a 10 gauge Remington ought to do the trick

15. Thanks for all of the advice.
The scorched earth approach is awfully tempting, but I think I'll start small and work up from there.
