My dog and cat are sleeping together
My dog, Corey, the English Bull Terrier, who will be 14 years old on Sunday,

has been sleeping with my older cat, Picasso (he's 12) lately.

He goes to sleep in her bed, then she comes along and almost lays on top of him, but he just moves and curls up next to her. It isn't a sex thing, just a companionship thing.

I didn't realize they were close. But it makes me smile.

1. How can you be so sure it is not a sex thing????????????
They are beautiful furbabies.

It is wonderful when they get along so well...

Wasn't it considerate of her to let the dog have a little corner of HIS bed??

2. I went home for lunch one day and found my dog and cat curled up together on the couch
When my cat (Miranda) goes into heat, she tries to get Katie interested, but Katie just doesn't go that way.

3. In my house
That means it's freakin' cold! And I interpret the glares directed at me as meaning "Turn on the heat, you cheap jerk!"

7. As long as the surviving pet...
doesn't dig the other up like they did in England, you're ok.
As one gets older-the comfort of a warm bed outweighs any animosity you might have had.
