Feeling a little bit depressed...
No reason in particular. And everything at once.

I was planning on going out and enjoying myself tonight, but have been banned from doing so, as my mom's in a bad mood (understandably).

Oh well, tomorrow will be a better day.

4. My dear AspieGrrl...
Oh, sweetie...

I'm sorry about this...

Try to keep the long view in mind, OK?

And consider too, if you ever have kids, you will have an excellent idea on what NOT to do...

6. Do people ever tell you you're awesome?
Because you are!

Thank you for that.

That is too sweet of you...

I've had some pain in my life, and I hate to see my friends suffer because they have it too...

7. Awwww.

It's rainy and crappy here today and I usually get depressed on those types of days. Lately though, I've been actually looking forward to them. Winter didn't last long enough this year.

Maybe, you can dive into a good adventure book and cuddle up with a pet or a pillow and "go out" anyhow. I always read Treasure Island during times when I couldn't go anywhere. It made me feel like I went somewhere anyhow.

9. You know, if you have an archery set and thick shrubs to hide behind, you need not be bored.
It's just a matter of seeing the glass half full.

10. If it's any help...
"no reason in particular and everything all at once" makes a great song lyric!

Here, watch an old Alarm clip. Love the music or laugh at the haircuts. Either way, you'll feel better!

11. Do something nice for yourself
Take a long bath with good-smelling stuff. Light candles. Eat a piece of really good chocolate. Find a warm corner, a soft blanket, some fuzzy slippers and a good book. You don't have to go out to enjoy yourself.

And remember, this too shall pass. You're on the verge of finding a better living space. At the very worst, console yourself with the thought that at least you don't have to live through this day again.

12. I know, it sucks
Independence will come soon, although I know right now that "soon" seems like forever.

You're a good kid and a hell of an intelligent one. Have I ever told you that I thought you were considerably older than you are when I first started reading your posts?

13. You really need some good things to come your way...
...you deserve it. You've been eating a steady diet of shit sandwiches lately.

14. We all have bad days. You are going through a great loss so be proud
of yourself that you are getting through it. Days will soon return to sunny. You just have a little grieving to do. And sometimes it takes time.

15. Which is why the 'net is great. You can have a social life right there in your own home. Still,
I know how it must bum you to stay in when you had planned otherwise. :(

16. The net is great.
And thank you.

Yeah, I also planned to go out tonight (friend's birthday), but I couldn't make it because of the snow, and neither could anyone else, so she had to cancel. I feel really bad but there's no way in hell I could have gotten there, and the weather is really not my fault. Still, she's really pissed off at me right now for cancelling. :-(
