My boyfriend is officially nuts

The youngest cat has always adored him, and ignores me most of the time. He, in turn, adores the cat. He was NEVER a cat person until this one glommed onto him, and he's totally wrapped around her paw.

He took the cat to bed with him last night (and I've NEVER slept with cats, but he likes it, so I let him). I went into bed about an hour later, and thought he was sleeping on my side of the bed. Then I noticed a big lump on HIS side of the bed. Huh?

I go to my side, and lift the covers. He used the pillows (MY pillows!) to build a "fort" for the cat to sleep under. His body formed two sides of the fort, the pillows the other sides, and the blanket on top. The cat was nestled securely inside her little fort.

I had to wake them both up so I could get into bed. Then the cat crawled on my face for half an hour in protest.

But I'll be damned if I sleep with one. I don't think I could handle cat hairs on my pillow.

and occasionally crawl under the covers with me on a cold night (one likes to play hot water bottle and sleep on my feet) but ummm.I've never done the fort thing......:D

5. I already had two cats

and he liked 'em OK, but that was about it. Then, I adopted this one - while I was still inside signing all the paperwork, he took her out to the car in her little carrier. He opened the box, she poked her head up, looked at him and said "meep" and from that moment on, he was under her spell.

I swear, she hardly notices I exist. But as soon as he walks in the house, she let's out a huge meow and runs to greet him, and she never leaves his lap.
